The illustration is a build up of the lines extracted from the walls of the heritage buildings in Georgetown, Penang. It criticizes the role of preservation and how literally could that role be when everything is worth preserving? To what extend can we balance the idea between preservation and progression?
This project is the part of the initial proposal for the Penang 2095 project and also a manifestation of Rem Koolhaas' Preservation is overtaking us.
